Kanye West humiliates Taylor Swift onstage at MTV VMAs as Madonna pays tribute to Michael Jackson
Kanye West caused outrage at the MTV VMAs last night after he humiliated Taylor Swift by interrupting her winner's speech.
Country star Taylor was giving her thank-yous as she accepted the Best Female Video gong for You Belong With Me when the hip hop star stormed the stage.
He grabbed the mic from Swift and said: "Taylor, I'm really happy for you, and I'm gonna let you finish, but Beyonce (for Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)) had one of the best videos of all time."

Taylor was then hustled off stage without finishing her speech but managed to regain her composure enough to return and perform her award-winning song live on the show later on during the ceremony.
She was later invited onstage by Beyonce, who'd won Video of the Year, so the younger star could "have her moment" and finish her speech.
However, Kanye was reportedly thrown out - he'd been swigging from a bottle of cognac for the whole evening.
Earlier, Madonna had hailed Michael Jackson as an "otherworldy hero" as she paid tribute to the late singer.
Madge was introducing an onstage celebration of the star's life, which saw the original video to Thriller played as dancers performed the iconic choreography onstage, before moving on to a medley of Jacko's hits.
When the medley arrived at his duet Scream with sister Janet Jackson, she appeared to smash through glass to make her way onstage and sing along in an almost angry performance which saw the audience rise to its feet.
